SEA TEACHERS CEREMONY
A SEA Teachers ceremony was organized at the Video Conference Room to warmly welcome me to Universitas Kristen Indonesia. The event served a dual purpose as it also included a farewell ceremony for my co-pre-service teacher, Mr. Ken. Gathering with students from various faculties, deans, the UKI International Office, and buddies made for a delightful experience.During the program, I presented about my journey in Jakarta, Indonesia, and performed the song "Alipin" by Shamrock. Following the presentations, tokens of appreciation were exchanged, expressing gratitude for the unwavering love and support received from the university during our tenure as pre-service teachers in Indonesia. It was a heartfelt way to acknowledge the meaningful connections forged during our time at Universitas Kristen Indonesia.

SHP ORIENTATION
The primary purpose of my journey to Indonesia unfolded during the orientation at Sekolah Harapan Prestasi, a partner school of Universitas Kristen Indonesia where I will be conducting my practice teaching. During the orientation, I had the opportunity to meet various teachers, including the school's Principal, Mr. Gunawan. I introduced myself and received guidance from Mr. Gunawan about the school's rules and regulations. To my relief, I was also introduced to my Cooperating teacher, Miss Denise Rose, who, being a fellow Filipina, instantly created a sense of connection. Stepping into the school, excitement welled up within me, anticipating a fruitful journey as a pre-service teacher at Sekolah Harapan Prestasi.

BAHASA INDONESIA CLASS
I am delighted to have the opportunity to attend a Bahasa Indonesia class with my buddies, facilitated by Miss Amanda every Saturday. She teaches us basic Bahasa Indonesia, focusing on the right tone and diction of words and phrases. The knowledge gained in this class has proven invaluable in my daily interactions with UKI friends and when making purchases outside.

KALIBATA CITY SQUARE
We visited Kalibata City with Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University students and the UKI Buddies to buy groceries. Afterward, we explored the area, indulging in some street food delights beside Kalibata City.
